Keycard Holder Material Options
Your design is crucial, and says a lot about your brand. However, the choice of paper stock also speaks to your brand identity…
So before, you press print, take a look at our keycard holder material options, and make sure to pick the best one for you and your branding.
Silk Paper
Silk is the most popular of our keycard holder material options; as such, we’ve made it the standard default for unspecified orders. That’s because silk paper stock has a slight glean to it, making your keycard look professional and elegant. Silk paper stock is also quite durable: perfect for something like a keycard holder that will be handled time and time again.
We offer silk stock in 350gsm paper weight as standard (that’s the same stock and weight as a standard business card), but can create keycard holders in lighter or heavier weights. The paper weight correlates to the thickness – so if you wanted a slightly thicker and sturdier keycard wallet, we could print on 400gsm. Likewise if you wanted something a little thinner, opt for 200gsm, 250gsm or 300gsm. Our standard 350gsm stock will stand upright without falling down – perfect for keycard holders that are also menus!
Uncoated Paper
Uncoated paper is just that – paper that is uncoated. As such, it has no slight sheen to it and is just unadulterated paper stock. This stock is available in a variety of gsm weights from 190 to 400, so you’ll be sure to find what you’re looking for!190gsm
Recycled Uncoated Paper
One of the more eco-friendly of our keycard holder material options, this stock is both uncoated and recycled. It is made from recycled paper and as such, has a low carbon footprint. This paper stock is still treated to appear white, so if you’re looking for a green option that doesn’t compromise on whiteness – here’s your answer!
Kraft Paper
Kraft paper stock is by far the most environmentally friendly of our keycard holder material options, so if your hotel or spa is committed to reducing your carbon footprint, this is the one for you. Fully recycled and recyclable, kraft paper isn’t bleached, so uses less energy to create. This means that Kraft paper is instantly recognisable, as it isn’t the bright white of standard paper stocks. Instead, it has a browner hue.
It’s also a little thinner than standard paper stocks, and is available in 225 or 280 gsm weights. Both the colour and the weight make Kraft stock easily recognisable – proffering your eco-friendly message to your customers effectively.
